Get the kiddos in the kitchen, because this recipe is so simple to make! My own “Chef Reid” takes over to make Egg Bites, the perfectly portable breakfast or snack. Made with Conestoga Farms Free Run Omega 3 Eggs, they’re a great way to involve kids, as most of the prep work is easy for little ones to follow. And remember, the food you make yourself always tastes better!
1 carton Conestoga Farms Free Run Omega 3 Eggs
Assorted additions, such as chopped ham, onion, pepper, chives and bacon
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 muffin tin, greased well
Crack 12 Conestoga Farms Free Run Omega 3 Eggs into a large measuring cup or mixing bowl. Beat thoroughly until well mixed. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Divide assorted additions equally into nine muffin cups, filling about 1/4 full. Pour egg mixture on top, distributing evenly among cups. Top with a handful of grated cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until egg bites are set (they should feel firm to the touch). Cool; remove from tins. Enjoy immediately or freeze for up to three months. Enjoy!
