My mom, who is likely reading this post right now, will cringe as I outline in detail just what a domestic failure I am.
I’m sorry mom. And to my other readers, I promise, it’s not her fault I’m such a slob. She raised me well, nagged me incessantly about my clutter, and to this day, you can eat off her floors (and frequently, my boys do). However, somewhere along our family’s path to evolution, I may have missed that gene that allows me to recognize a messy home.
Oh, let’s be honest. It bypassed me completely.
So when people talk about weekly cleaning, my eyes begin to glaze over. Of course I clean my home weekly! From top to bottom, yes. But the truth is, my home gets cleaned when I ask my husband to do it. And he does, because he’s a lovely man who realizes that when I’m not cleaning, I’m working my butt off and being the best mom to my boys. (At least that’s what I hope he thinks.)
But I have a theory. If you can’t clean like a pro – then use pro equipment to make up for your laziness shortcomings.
Introducing the Dyson Big Ball Animal 2. Simply put, it has the strongest suction of any other vacuum in Canada. In fact, this is what our vacuum cleaner picked up after our floors were swept. Yikes! I’m sure you don’t want to see what the canister looked like after we vacuumed our rugs. *Shudder*
With four allergy sufferers in our household including one asthmatic, I know I need to stay on top of our housecleaning routine, and the sheer volume of dust, dirt and debris picked up by the Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 is a reminder that I need to increase my efforts. Most of the attachments are quite interchangeable and you’ll soon determine which one is best for the job at hand.
Me, for example? I use the stiff bristle brush to power through caked on dirt along our window panes. Or maybe my husband does that and I took the photos. Same thing, right?

Honestly i would love to own a Dyson but it never seems to be in my budget but this one is an air cleaner & vacuum all in one machine,sure sounds like an addition i need to invest in !

My current vacuum is a hand me down from my mom (yikes already , right?) and has a nasty habit of ripping some of the stitches off my carpet ! Noooo! Would be a huge help with my dogs shedding as well!
Our vacuum is giving up but although I would love a Dyson at this point we cant justify that sort of spend. I wish we could though.

My mother in law is on her second Dyson, and she loves them. I, on the other hand, own 3 hand me down vacuums that I try to pass off as one decent one. I’d like to just get rid of the three of them and own a vacuum from this decade that has the proper amount of suction!

I don’t own a Dyson but my daughter has one which I used a couple of times on my visits. They sure do have a lot of suction compared to my old vacuum.

Dyson’s are a dream vacuum! We have one of the original Dyson’s and it has been great but I am afraid to say it is starting to finally wear out, definitely not cleaning up the cat hair as good as it once did. But then it is YEARS old.

I dont own a Dyson because we still use our family owned vaccum of 30 years. Only difficulty I find are stairs, corners and windows. Which I can sweep just ‘enough’ . Is this light enough to move swiftly?

Wow! I love everything about this vacuum cleaner.It cleans the air as it’s cleaning the floors or whatever your vacuuming.It’s so worth every invested cent!

Seriously, how cool is the Dyson brand?? The technology of their products is incredible. This vacuum would be a dream the way it can get around without being heavy. And the suction power would be amazing compared to my current brand!

I have a huge white dog and she leaves fur everywhere. I cannot get the fur off of the carpet. Sounds like this is the Vacuum I need.
I’ve been trying to win this vacuum for years and although I haven’t won yet I keep trying because I have a cat and a dog and the fur is terrible even though I vacuum and sweep a few times a week, I know this Dyson can do a way better job.
I do like Dyson products for their efficiency.

I got to see this amazing dyson first hand when i visited my daughter in May she has one and loves it and believe me after using it i could tell why.
I’ve actually now invested in a Dyson canister vacuum cleaner – one short sweep over the hallway carpet, my wool rug in the living- room and my tiny bathroom and I was shocked at how much dirt it had picked up. So much better than my old vacuum, I’m really glad I bought it.
