Recently, I had an opportunity to attend The Home Depot Canada’s holiday preview, which was chock full of design and décor inspiration for every taste (and budget). Whether you’re looking to be the talk of your neighbourhood with standout lighting, add some sparkle to your classic collection of ornaments or liven your space with some Canadian-grown greenery, The Home Depot Canada is #ChristmasCentral.
So, what are some of the “must haves” this season?
Lighting. The easiest way to make the holidays bright! And this year, you may just give the neighbourhood’s “Griswold” family a run for their money, because The Home Depot Canada’s huge selection of lighting goes well beyond traditional string lights that have long been a holiday staple.

I accidentally stumbled across HD’s Christmas decorations two years ago when I was going to buy a poinsettia -there are so many beautiful pieces! It’s a hidden gem :)

I love how the decorating has become so much more elegant in the past years. Decorations used to be red and green mostly when I was growing up but now you can find gold, silver, blue, purple and many more but everything looks so much better and especially if you’re not decorating for kids.
Lena, Home Hardware is a good place to go for outside deocrating items and indoors too. I try remain to the white lights so they can show off my ornaments. I love how people are so creative around the Christmas Season; we even go for a drive around the neighborhood to see the outdoor decorations on houses.
