Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of checking out the brand new Laura concept store at Sherway Gardens. This completely redesigned, completely gorgeous retail space features Laura, Laura Petites, Laura Plus and Laura Plus Petites – all under one banner, in one store!

Thoughtfully categorized, well-lit and with dedicated spaces to lounge while waiting for your shopping party, it’s a must-stop when looking for a perfect piece to update your wardrobe. In store, you can expect to find stylish workwear, casual separates and elegant eveningwear, plus an extensive selection of outerwear and accessories. 

Now it’s no secret that Sherway Gardens is high on my list of happy places, and I was thrilled to attend the grand opening to see how the store meshes with the mall’s vibe. The clean, minimalist facade is in line with other fashion retailers, creating an aura of affordable luxury.
IMG_2413At the opening, in addition to a few small bites and bubbly, guests were treated to a very special presentation on fashion trends by Liv Judd, a style, beauty and lifestyle expert. She showcased some of her favourite wardrobe pieces this summer, and gave us a thorough walk-through of how to style trendy pieces with wardrobe staples.

So, what am I loving for spring/ summer 2016? I’m partial to bright and breezy looks, mirrored jewelry and fuchsia. Fuchsia everything. (Especially when paired with a romantic, floral-print scarf.)
