NOTE: The following giveaway is open to Canadians only.
Sometimes, it happens in the middle of a morning conference call. Often, it’s when I’m packing the kids off to school. And once in a while, it suddenly hits me when I’m still in bed.
The full-forced craving for this healthy, protein-packed Peanut Butter Ricotta Crème, made with Kraft All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter.
The fluffy texture contrasts nicely with crisp toast or a dense, chewy bagel. And, it’s completely versatile: you can use the crème as a dip for apple slices (my boys love to enjoy it this way), dolloped over blueberry pancakes or as a better-for-you icing for pound cake. The best part? It’s oh-so-easy to make, and you control the sweetness.
1 cup light ricotta cheese
1/4 cup Kraft All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons honey, plus extra for drizzling, if desired
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Place all ingredients in food processor; process until smooth. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve (up to 7 days).
It’s time to think outside the jar or spread and start upgrading! Even though I enjoyed this crème with a bagel for breakfast (you could call me a “traditionalist”), I’m looking forward to snack time, when I’ll be dipping tart apple slices into this cloud of peanut-y perfection. Craving factor: full effect.
In fact, one jar of Kraft All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter offers endless inspiration! (Have you checked out my recipe for Peanut Butter Granola?) And, since it’s a family favourite, you’ll always have a reason to Make together. Stick together.

When we lived in Miami my husband wouldn’t eat any other peanut butter and we’d have to have it shipped from Canada. Now my two boys and their Dad are pretty fussy peanut butter fans and only Kraft will do! I think we’d all enjoy this recipe with some of our own honey, too :)
