Babysitting My Bella: A Play Date with Play, Stow and Go!

The very best thing about being an aunt to a sweet little girl is the ability to watch her grow, explore and learn about the world around her, one step at a time. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of babysitting my two-year-old niece Bella, and I don’t know who was more excited! I got to pinch her chubby cheeks and watch her toddle around, and she had a chance to play with the new PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow and Go toys, the ultimate in portable entertainment. Once we arrived at my house, I broke out the Stack ‘n Stow Cups. I love this toy! Designed for kids with grown-ups in mind, these seven colourful cups let babies stack and explore fun combinations, and then quickly condense into one piece for easy storage and travel. When the cups are nested and locked into place with the friendly lion’s face, the easy-grasp tabs create a rainbow lion’s mane. This simple yet engaging stacking toy provided much fun (and a welcome distraction from other less durable items) and was well received by Bella. In fact, she *almost* figured out how to stack the cups on her first try! She must get her smarts from her Aunt.

Finally, what play date would be complete without a parting gift – in this case, a Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant? The busy elephant plush packs big fun with lots of colours, textures, sounds and seven activities for Bella to explore. She took to it instantly and I have no doubt this will become a favourite addition to her already growing pile of stuffies! And if her elephant friend gets dirty, her parents simply need to toss it into a pillowcase and into the washing machine to clean.
