It all started when Zeba of Ella Pretty Blog assured me that I should totally buy the Michael Kors “Colette” Medium Leather Messenger in Sun. Normally, I wouldn’t necessarily be swayed – it takes me forever to make a new handbag purchase, and even then, I create spreadsheets to analyze pros and cons – however, it was just before my birthday and I thought hell yeah, I totally should buy this.
Solidifying my decision was the fact that it was sold out everywhere (trust me, we checked!) which of course, created an inflated sense of “need” based solely on the fact that I couldn’t “have” it.

Love your whole outfit!!! I made an impulse purse buy this month too. I’ve always wanted a Kate Spade bag. I finally found one I could afford and that I LOVED at Winners! It was $149.99 which was 1/2 price if it was at a regular store. I don’t regret buying my purse. I totally love everything about it and I deserve it. It’s been such a long time that I’ve bought something nice for myself. I usually just buy stuff for my boys. That purse is all mine! :)
Can you find me a big purse I will love, big enough to hold all of the random stuff I carry to work including phone, tablet, makeup, oversized wallet and the mess that is my purse lol

That’s a very cute bag! I used to buy on impulse but I’m trying to say no these days. I also develop attachments to my older things. Like my favorite jeans. There’s a hole on the right butt cheek. I’m patching it even though I bought a similar pair. You should see my current purse. It always falls off my wheelchair now. I’m giving in now.

The thing I love about a good quality handbag is that they last forever. So you may have paid a lot but I’m sure it will last and it’s a style that will stay in fashion. I have a Doonie & Burke and it cost $400 but I also know that I’ll be able to switch it back and forth according to what I’m wearing for years.
