Parents, it’s crunch time.
Back to school time can be both exciting and exhilarating. Supplies have been purchased, routines have been established and after a long, lazy summer, kiddos are ready to be reunited with their classmates.
But weekday mornings? Still crazy.
The ongoing struggle with my boys is ensuring they have a nutritious breakfast – preferably that they can make themselves – that’s ready in a pinch. Thank goodness for Evive Smoothies!
Evive, the original blender-free smoothie, takes just 30 seconds to make – simply pop the cubes in a bottle, add your favourite liquid (juice, milk or water) and shake. I find the smoothie cubes are best incorporated when steeped in liquid for 15-20 minutes, so combine the cubes and liquid, let the kids continue their morning routine, shake… and YUM!
The superfood-packed, certified organic and vegan smoothies are purposefully designed to promote physical and psychological health, with each combination tested and approved by nutritionists. With flavour combinations such as Passion Mango, Cashew Mocha, Orange Peach and more – including NEW Mango Amla Berry – it’s easier than ever to ensure you can pack the kiddos off to school with their daily dose of protein, fruits and veggies.
Here’s a sample of what you can expect in Evive smoothie cubes:
Flavour: VIVA
Benefit: Immune Support, Antioxidant
Organic Content: Contains 78% organic ingredients
Ingredients: Strawberry, Banana, Dragon fruit, Rehydrated plant based proteins (filtered water, pea protein, chia protein, natural vanilla flavour, sea salt, stevia leaf extract), Cauliflower, Dragon fruit powder, Hemp seeds, Lemon juice, Dehydrated vegetable blend (spinach, broccoli, carrot, tomato, beet, shiitake)

On weekends, treat the kids! Turn your smoothie into a whimsical, delicious smoothie bowl.
I combined the Mango Amla Berry smoothie cubes in a blender with coconut milk for a thick, creamy consistency. Then, I added fresh fruit and shredded coconut. A taste of the tropics without leaving the kitchen? Yes please!
Of course, in addition to being delicious, convenient and the perfect breakfast solution for weekday mornings, I love supporting Evive – a Canadian company! Founded in 2015 by a young,

You have a wonderful way of describing the shake that makes me want to try it immediately. I was on a morning shake kick and lost my way—but I’m thinking this might be the ticket. It looks and sounds amazing.
