Now I know that donating to the Canadian Red Cross is certainly its own reward, but here’s a little extra motivation: during the month of September, they’ve team up with Aeroplan and SCENE as a way of thanking its donors for their generosity and support. For every dollar you donate to the Canadian Red Cross at redcross.ca/points, you’ll have the option of collecting either 20 Aeroplan Miles or 20 SCENE Points!

For example, if you were to donate $200, you’d receive 4,000 points. If you’re a SCENE collector, this would earn you enough points for a fun date night, including premium movie tickets and snacks for two. If you collect Aeroplan Miles, your $200 donation could get you one step closer to a trip to visit family, or you could cash out for some handy gifts or gift cards.

The best part? Donors who collect both Aeroplan and SCENE points can split their reward points 50/50! This means for every dollar you donate, you can choose to receive 10 Aeroplan Miles and 10 SCENE points.
