It’s no secret that our summer is infinitely better thanks to the addition of our new Springfree Trampoline. The boys are spending more time outdoors than ever; in fact, I find myself calling them inside almost every evening. It brings back memories of my own mom signalling for me to come indoors when I was young.
The thing is, trampolines make kids feel like kids.
That’s why I pleased to share with you some very timely news – if you live in the Greater Toronto Area, take note! Springfree Trampoline has partnered with two-time Olympic Gold Medal-winning trampolinist Rosie MacLennan to host a Canada 150-themed event at Yonge-Dundas Square. On Saturday, July 29th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Springfree Trampolines will be set up with the tgoma interactive gaming system and guests will be invited to play. The tgoma system will be connected to a custom, Canada-150 themed version of the Quizzle game – the questions will all be Canadian trivia!
The best part? For every 150 questions correctly answered collectively by event guests, Springfree will donate one trampoline to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. They have ten to give away and need everybody’s help to succeed at this goal!
But why Cystic Fibrosis Canada? Trampolines are great therapy for those who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis – it is an exciting, low-impact alternative to traditional exercise. In fact, any and all exercise is good for those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis as it helps loosen the intrusive mucus within their lungs which inhibits their breathing.
A fun event that benefits a great cause? Sign me up. The afternoon will also include a chance to meet-and-greet with Rosie, cold refreshments, tons of trampolines for kids of all ages and more!
Once again, the event takes place on Saturday, July 29th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m at Yonge-Dundas Square. If you happen to be in the area, or are looking for a great way to spend your Saturday, be sure to pop by for all the fun! Can’t make it? Use code SpringInto150YYZ1 to receive a FREE tgoma unit (value of $349) with the purchase of ANY trampoline!

That sounds like a fun event! I agree that summers are better for kids with a trampoline. When I was a kid my neighbours had one and I spent all summer at their house! Lol!

I also agree that summers are better for kids with a trampoline and I love to sit and read while they safely play

As a health care professional who works with kids with CF, I can attest to the worthiness of supporting this important cause. It is so great that Springfree is supporting it.

I’ve always fancied having a trampoline and I’m sure my grandkids would love it, however we have a very small yard and it would take up at least half of it, so I don’t imagine that we’ll be getting one. :-(

Did you manage to attend the Canada 150-themed event and did they succeed in giving away all ten trampolines to Cystic Fibrosis Canada?
