Win a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2!

May 19, 2017 By Lena 291 Comments

Note: The following giveaway is open to Canadians only.

Are you ready to experience the power of the Dyson Big Ball Animal 2? In a previous post, I outlined why I think this vacuum is Dyson’s best yet. However, in case you missed it, here’s the Coles Notes version:

1. Simply put, it has the strongest suction of any other vacuum in Canada.

2. Advanced Radial Root Cyclone technology channels airflow through the center of the cyclone assembly. This maximizes suction to capture more microscopic dust.

3. Ball technology allows easy manoeuvring around furniture and obstacles, and the quick release hose and wand stretches to clean high places and awkward gaps.

4. The vacuum is engineered for tough cleaning across all floors, which makes cleaning carpets, wood floors, vinyl and tile a breeze.

5. Oh yeah – it’s a beaut.
Well, I have exceptional news – one lucky reader will WIN a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 valued at $599.99! To enter, simply fill the form below with your qualifying entries. Can’t wait to experience #DysonClean? Shop online at dyson.ca.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some spring cleaning tasks to complete delegate!

My biggest frustration with my current vacuum is that it doesn’t clean properly! The suction on it doesn’t work very well so only half the dirt and everything else gets picked up AND it smells bad gahhh

My biggest frustration with my current vacuum is that it is hard to manoeuver – it’s heavy, and awkward, so doing the stairs is a pain, and getting into smaller spaces is difficult (e.g. under the table, between furniture pieces).

I don’t own a vacuum so right about now that’s my current frustration. I’ve been saving up for a Dyson but life gets in the way. I want this one so badly after seeing it and what it can do. I’ve been using a broom to clean my carpets so you can just imagine how much dirt, dust, debris and not to mention pet hair is left behind. I can’t imagine how much crap the Dyson would lift of my carpet just going over it once. My old vacuum was a pain. It was heavy, bulky and kept clogging in the hose and in the brush head. The canister had to keep being emptied even before I had finished vacuuming and it sucked – not in the good way either!

My vacuum is 24 years old – I’ve had it since the year before I got married – was a wedding shower from all who attended my bridal shower. It doesn’t work very well, it’s big, takes up a lot of space, have to change the bag & have to change a filter as well for it starts to smell after long usage. It becomes very expensive to have to replace the bags & filters not to mention the bulkiness & it’s darn heavy. Would so love to win this new vacuum because guess what no bags or filters to buy and replace & it stands up & moves with you not against you plus it would alleviate the fur tumbleweeds that keep rolling around my house even after I’ve finished sweeping & dusting!!! So please pick me & thank, thank you for this wonderful chance to win this great prize!!!

My biggest frustrations with my vacuum are how big and clunky it is (seriously, I can barely carry it up the stairs – I’m afraid I’m going to fall one day when the dumb hose gets caught on the dumb stair corner and I have to try to pull it free) and how little it sucks up. I have to go over the same area multiple times just to get all the dirt and especially cat fur. It’s really terrible at picking up the cat fur and I’m a cat lady so the cats aren’t going anywhere!

I actually own a Dyson right now, my biggest frustration is that it does not like long human hair, which I have plenty of, so I find it wraps around the brush and it really does a number on it. It should have some sort of way to cut the hair that wraps around the blade automatically so it does not build up. I have to clean the brush off so often.

My current problem with my vacuum is it is a central vacuum that will plug to respective area and it does not go a good job, does not,get all the dirt. Its over 10 years old and I need to go to the be basement in order for me to use it and with a very very long vacuum cord. Not easy, not handy and not that portable. I need one that I can store on the main level of the house so I can use it on the go, like this one, my hair and y dogs fur is always what you see everywhere left when using our old, vacuum. I needed one badly with this feature. I always see this in the commercial but we can’t afford at the moment because we are still, dealing with the flooding in the basement, yes one more, when we stored it in the basement we got flooded and this vacuum was floating in water, so we don’t even know if this works. So that’s a bit of my dilemma. So I just sweep the floor upstair that give me a bad back. Thank you for the chance.

My vaccum right now is big & heavy & sucks at suction. It’s so bad at picking things up that sometimes it just spits things back at my feet. I’m in dire need of a new one now that I have thick carpet to worry about.

I just moved to a house with tons of thick carpet. I have two cats and a dog. As well as a hubby and two kids so let’s just say the carpet needs done everyday. My vacuum is small and needs emptied at least two times when I do the whole house. The cat fur and dog fur is everywhere and my current vacuum doesn’t pick it all up. One of my cats is pure white and I always see it on the carpet even after I clean it. Ugh

My current vacuum sucks in that it does not suck well enough so there is always stuff left behind that wasn’t sucked up. And although it is designed for a house with cats and dogs, my current vacuum is heavy so it’s hard to move between floors. Finally, although it is bagless, the filter needs to be rinsed and it seems to take 24 hours before it can be used again. I hate it. And I have wanted a Dyson for about 7 years now!

Our current vacuum must be over 50 years old, it was passed down from family. It was obviously made to last… but with the addition of duct tape in recent years! It is just about impossible to find the bags it needs to work, it is super duper heavy, and it is awkward.
I’m sure cleaning would be so much easier with a Dyson Big Ball Animal. And we do have a very furry animal!

    Hello Lena!
I currently do not own a vacuum but would LOVE to be able to have a quick, efficient and reliable way to clean our floors instead of using the old, outdated broom!
My boyfriend and I are pet owners and I have always found that sweeping does not get all of the unwanted hair off the floors, furniture and causes dust in the air we breathe!
It would be absolutely wonderful to ditch our broom forever for a DYSON! :)
    Thank you! :)
