When Granola Bars are this Good, You Call them Great (Value)

September 23, 2016 By Lena

Every mom has a list of her go-to snacks, and around here, we love a good granola bar.

Think about it: granola bars are small, extremely portable and easily napkin-free, which allows them to tackle a variety of snacking situations. They’re the perfect treat! From long car rides to lunchboxes, as part of a breakfast-on-the-go or in between meetings, we always have a variety on hand. Chances are, you do too! So tell me, are you a chocolate dipped or classically chewy kind of snacker?dsc_0013bLately, we’ve been enjoying Great Value Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars. They’re peanut free, made in Canada and have no artificial colours or preservatives. They’re also crammed with granola and chocolatey goodness with just the right texture: not too chewy, not too soft. The boys always grab a granola bar before we head out to run errands, and I reach for them during the dreaded “3PM Snack Attack” when I need a little something to carry me through until dinner.

Of course, while they’re delicious on their own, I’ve found an easy way to take Great Value Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars to the next level – by using them in place of traditional granola!

Elevate your enjoyment with this Raspberry Chocolate Chip Yogurt Parfait.

1 Great Value Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bar, crumbled
3/4 cup Great Value Vanilla Greek Nonfat Yogurt
1/2 pint raspberries

DIRECTIONS

Staaahhp. You don’t actually need directions for this, do you? It’s terribly easy! Simply grab your favourite glass or Mason jar and alternate the three ingredients in layers. There is no wrong way to do it! The protein-packed parfait is the perfect way to start your morning. There’s no denying the appeal of creamy yogurt, chewy granola, sweet chocolate chips and fresh, tangy raspberries. Yum!

Of course, who says breakfast gets all the glory? Switch it up again by drizzling one tablespoon of Great Value Chocolate Syrup over the top. You can snub the sundae bar with this instant dessert featuring better-for-you ingredients!
dsc_0010aWe love Great Value – especially when we discover multiple ways to enjoy their delicious products. And remember, Great Value products feature Walmart’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not fully satisfied, simply bring it back and Walmart will gladly refund your purchase or replace your item, no receipt required.

Are granola bars a staple in your pantry? I welcome you to try Great Value Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars! I know you’ll love them as much as we do.
