Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil

October 28, 2008 By Lena

I LOVE THIS EYELINER!

It’s a “soft” kohl, which means ~

1) It goes on smoothly, almost like a liquid
2) There’s no tugging or faded lines
3) The colour is INTENSE

And here’s the kicker… it’s a pencil! That’s right ladies, the boldness of a liquid liner with the convenience of a pencil. Absolutely heavenly for those who have a less-than-steady hand while applying liquid lines.

The product also lasts all day long with NO FADING whatsoever. Did I mention I LOVE this eyeliner?

I stumbled across these gems while waiting for a prescription at Shoppers Drug Mart. They’re retailing them for $6.99 which is a steal in itself. I normally wouldn’t have even thought of Rimmel, but the cosmetician looked fab and I asked her what she was using. Surprise!

Try it! You’ll love it!

Apparently it’s for men too. ;)But it’s much more fab on theladies…Ingredients origins/usesKohl (from the Arabic kuhl) is a mixture of soot and other ingredients worn by both women and men to darken the upper eyelids and as a mascara. It was traditionally used as far back as 3500BC as protection from eye ailments and to protect eyes from the Sun’s glare. It was also believed to strengthen children’s eyes soon after birth. Studies in the 1990s showed that some varieties of kohl posed a health risk due to the high content of lead within them. But now manufactures use different methods to produce it and the term ‘kohl’ only refers to the colour rather than the content of the cosmetic.

I'm going to have to try it, I had stopped using their products because one of their eye shadows gave me an allergy
