If you’re looking for a unique gift idea for a hottie on your list, look no further than Nostalgic Links.
The designer offers handmade, retro and vintage-inspired pieces, all available in limited or single quantities. The cufflinks are literally conversation pieces – from the whimsical motifs, one-of-a-kind designs and colourful adornments.
From the designer:
Nostalgic Links is a Canadian one-woman company thoughtfully launched in October 2006 in Vancouver, BC. The name comes from the word nostalgia, which means “A sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time”.
You may be wondering, why cufflinks? I use to work in an office of a man who wore cufflinks and that is how the idea of cufflinks came to mind. It started out with sourcing vintage cufflinks and then it escalated to handcrafting them. I do use unique vintage cabochons and other novelty items for my handcrafted cufflinks, and with exception of some novelty, they will not be found anywhere else.
Whether you’re into quirky retro, timeless classics, or vintage with a modern touch, you’re sure to find the perfect set of cufflinks. Here are some of the styles I’m loving (click to enlarge):
