There are a few things I just can’t live without: my Dior 60’s Sunglasses, a Magic Bullet, Balmshell’s Hair-Apy Lipgloss and Coca-Cola.
It’s just one of my Achilles heels; even when I’m eating well, working out and otherwise banning all non-diet foods, you can always count on me to take a swig of the sweet stuff when nobody’s looking. I’m not alone; the average Canadian drinks about 250 8-ounce glasses of Coca-Cola every year. Although I realize it’s probably not on any nutritionist’s lists of “healthy food options” – quite frankly, it’s delicious. And I always say everything in moderation.
Helping Canadians add a touch of the above-mentioned moderation to their diets, Coca-Cola recently launched the new Mini Can. The smaller, portion-sized, 100-calorie Mini Can allows you to choose a beverage size that meets your dietary and lifestyle preferences. The best part? The Mini Can delivers the original taste of Coca-Cola in a convenient new package, while keeping portion control in mind.
Looks like I can have my Coca-Cola… and drink it too! Just like all the 100-calorie goodies, I’m so happy I can keep a tab on my caloric intake without sacrificing flavour. The good folks at Coca-Cola in Canada sent me a Mini Can (and a mini collector’s glass to enjoy it in)… ah, no need to sneak in my fix anymore!
The Mini Cans are available now in 6-packs at retailers near you! Additional brands that will feature the new mini can packaging include Coke Zero, Diet Coke and Sprite. (Not very sure why Coke Zero and Diet Coke need to be portioned controlled for calories? Someone explain please.)
Are there any other Coca-Cola junkies out there – present or reformed?
