Your Summer, Your Drink: Introducing the #Freddoccino

March 29, 2015 By Lena

To some, this drink will need no introduction, while others may have heard of it for the first time from my post, “What’s Your Favourite Freddo?”

It’s the Coffee Culture Freddoccino, of course! And if you’re lucky enough to have a Coffee Culture near you, you’ll know it’s a delicious, cold beverage made with rich espresso, ice-cream, all natural syrups and sauces, and topped with whipped cream. Could it get any better?

(Actually, it can: Freddoccinos are available in Caramel, Mocha, Oreo Crumble, or Coffee!)

So, think you need them in your life? You won’t want to miss the #Freddoccino Twitter Party, where we’ll chat coffee, your favourite ways to cool down, and more!

If you’re looking at the title of this post, and thinking… Hmm… now what the heck’s a Freddo, Lena?… sit back, because I’m about to introduce you to your new favourite cold concoction.

That’s why I always order a smooth and simple Coffee Freddoccino; I find it so satisfying to savour the combination of quality espresso with a sweet, refreshing kick.

Once the hot espresso is poured, Coffee Culture uses one of their signature all-natural sauces/ syrups. The Freddoccino is then blended with ice and either Ice-Cream Mix (default) or Milk (regular, skim or soy). Once blended the beverage gets topped with whipped cream and either Oreo bits for the Oreo Crumble, or Chocolate/ Caramel sauce for the Mocha or Caramel Freddoccino. …
