Back to School: Deals and Delights at Dixie Outlet Mall

For my readers in the Greater Toronto Area, when was the last time you checked out Dixie Outlet Mall? As one of Canada’s largest enclosed outlet shopping centres, it’s a virtual mecca of your favourite stores at heavily discounted prices. And, especially when it comes to back to school, who can resist a deal? 

But it’s much more than that. Today, I’m sharing the Top 3 Deals and Delights at Dixie Mall!

1. DEAL: Back to School Made Easy. The thing I absolutely love about outlet malls is the knowledge that I’m almost guaranteed to save money. So, it’s the perfect place to tackle back to school shopping for my boys, especially since they’re beginning to form strong opinions about what they like – and what has to go. (Fun fact: Ryder refuses to wear cargo pants. He thinks they look “messy!”)

Your first stop: Carters OshKosh. With store-wide savings and door crasher deals ($6 tees, $10 sweaters and $12 sweatpants), you’ll love their sweet, whimsical clothing for kindergarten kids and rugged, sturdy apparel for elementary-aged children. The store was jam-packed when I visited!

Next, I know your children will love Urban Kids – and I know you’ll love their Mix and Match BOGO 50% sale. With an enviable selection of West 49 apparel and the coolest track suits I’ve seen (check out the glow-in-the-dark skeleton suit below!), it’s a must do for back to school.

Have a pre-teen or teen? Free WIFI for the win! The lounge is large and, when it’s not busy, is a great place for older to kids to hang while mom or dad finishes up their shopping. (Children under 13 must have a parent chaperone at all times.) Definitely a must-do at Dixie Outlet Mall!
