Moms, Now is the Time for YOU: Healing Mix

September 21, 2014 By Lena

I often feel we’re programmed to answer the question “How are you?” a certain way – namely, “Good”, “Fine”, “Great”, or the ever popular “Can’t Complain!”

Until recently, there was only one way I truly wanted to answer that question: “Tired.”

You may remember my previous post about Now For Mothers Healing Mix –

“I’m tired all the time. In fact, from the moment I gave birth to Ryder six years ago, I’ve never felt truly rested. First, it was the stress of post pregnancy – nighttime feedings, hormonal imbalances, and postpartum blues that ebbed and flowed for almost a year. Then, it was keeping up with a feisty, curious toddler… while caring for his newborn baby brother. And later, it was balancing both boys and my inhuman drive to succeed – and while it’s been great for business, there have been casualties along the way: my health, stamina, diet, energy… you could say I’m constantly juggling a few too many balls in the air.”

At the time, I introduced you to Healing Mix, a Superfood for ALL moms taken from the first day of giving birth continuously for up to six years afterwards. The continuous benefits of Healing Mix include:

– Stimulates energy flow and increases metabolism
– Stabilizes blood sugar levels for sustained energy
– Assists in reducing congestion and phlegm in the body
– Aids in flushing toxins from the system

Today, I’m here to tell you that I’ve been enjoying it every single day for just over a month. And I’m here to tell you that it works.
Now for Mothers Healing MixFirst and foremost, it’s delicious. I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting, but whenever I hear the words “supplement”, “all-natural” or “organic”, I generally brace myself for a dirt-like concoction that I have to pinch my nose to swallow. Not the case with Healing Mix. The all-natural formula is nutty, slightly sweet and very tasty – the perfect accompaniment to smoothies, yogurt, warm milk, or even straight from the package.

Next, I love the ingredients. Even my 6-year old can read them all! Organic Flax, Organic Oats, Organic Almonds, Organic Honey, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Wheat, Organic Butter, Organic Walnuts, Organic Pistachios, Organic Brown Sugar, Organic Raisins, Organic Pine Nuts, and Organic Melon Seeds. I am organically impressed.

Finally, what it truly comes down to is the fact that I have observed a noticeable increase in energy since enjoying a scoop of the formula every single day. It has replaced my 3:00PM sugar fix – because let’s be honest, while a coffee and cookie can give you a temporary rush, the crash is just so not worth it. Instead, I now savour a bowl of Greek yogurt with Healing Mix sprinkled on top. The combination of protein and powerful organic ingredients gives me the boost of energy I need to make it through the afternoon, and the satiation factor is so high that it could conceivably be used as a healthy meal replacement aid.
Now For Mothers Healing MixAlthough Healing Mix is also positioned as a post-pregnancy recovery formula (with good reason – it helps regulate hormonal balance as well as simultaneously promoting healthy brain development in newborns during breastfeeding), I can honestly attest to its efficacy six years postpartum. I wish I had started the supplementation from the moment my boys were born, but truly, it’s never too late to start.

Healing Mix is available at Loblaw Companies Stores across Canada (Atlantic Superstore, Extra Foods, Loblaws, Loblaw Greatfood, Real Canadian Superstore, Loblaw Superstore and Zehrs). Click here to find a retailer.
Now for Mothers Healing MixYou need to be at your very best after pregnancy to enjoy every precious moment with your little one. As a mom, you need to be nurtured too. If you’re looking for a natural and organic recovery formula that conveniently and safely provides a solution to exhaustion after childbirth… or the exhaustion of raising children…. I strongly recommend you try Healing Mix for yourself. In fact, I am certain you will love it as much as I do.

It sounds amazing and if not for peanut and tree nut allergies in our house, I would probably try it. I feel like you, tired since the day my first kid popped out. :-)

Yes, definitely not if there are peanut allergies, but amazing if you’re not worried about them. I can honestly say it’s helped increase my energy, noticeably!

So it is ok to take seven years after a baby as well? Just to get my energy up, because I could use that.

      September 24, 2014 at 4:06 pm

YES! It’s best effective for a few years after childbirth, but can be used by ANY mom at any time. The ingredients are all-natural, so no side effects!

I love all the healthy ingredients in this healing mix formula and I think it’s worth a try. Normally, for my afternoon snack I have my low fat Greek yogurt with a little bit of pure honey but adding the healing mix instead to boost my energy level sounds great! Thanks Lena!

You’re welcome! And with Healing Mix, it has a natural sweetness so you can actually skip the honey!

I am still “Healing” from almost dying after I had my son 3 years ago, I’ve just never felt the same after. Maybe that experience in its self changes someone. All the surgeries and antibiotics messed my system up so badly, I still feel removed from myself if that makes any sense? lol I love the ingredient list I may give this a try!

    • Lena

      September 24, 2014 at 4:07 pm

Wow Paula, that is scary! And yes, I do know what you’re speaking about. I can’t promise Healing Mix will make you 100%, but it’s certainly worth a try!

    • Lena

      September 24, 2014 at 4:21 pm

Sure is, Judy. It’s best for post-pregnancy and in the toddler years, but is a wonderful supplement for all moms.
