Since Easter only comes around once per year, you’d better make it EGGpic. And what better way than with a Kinder Egg Hunt? Quite possibly the perfect Easter treat, Kinder Eggs offer your child both chocolate and a toy. Now that’s worth hunting for!
Keep it simple, especially if you have young children. Hide your treats in easily accessible places, and within reach of little fingers. Always be sure to watch out for potential hazards that excited little hunters may run into while they’re otherwise distracted. Never place eggs near electrical outlets or in small crevices.
Encourage good sportsmanship and have older siblings help out the younger ones. Be sure to hide more eggs than you think you’ll need – and count them so you can rescue any strays. Use your smartphone to snap photos of the egg locations in case you have trouble recovering them all when the hunt is over.
Just like other candy-filled holidays, pre-establish a limit of how much chocolate the kids can enjoy, and agree on a suitable alternative for the rest. Baking, gifting and donating are all great options for excess goodies. Share the Joy!
Once again, Kinder has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network and will be providing 12 baskets to CMN hospitals. As well, Kinder will be donating another $25,000 to help support this non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America.
Will you host an EGGpic Easter Egg Hunt this year? Be sure to share your own tips and tricks!
I’m part of the Kinder Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group.
The opinions on this blog are my own
That’s wonderful of Kinder – now we have even more reason to buy so many of their eggs, lol

Happy Easter to you and your fam!
Thank you Soozle, same to you!
Kudos to Kinder ! Kinder Eggs always appear in my Easter presents for my grandchildren (except for the baby), even my daughter and son-in-law get some LOL ! It’s been a while since I have conducted an egg hunt, but as my daughter grew up, the degree of difficulty for finding the eggs went up too ;)
Hoppy Easter to you and your family and to all of your readers !
Thank you Flora – wishing you and your family a Happy Easter as well!
That is wonderful of Kinder! What we have done in the past in order to make it fair, is to use the plastic eggs you can buy and each child has to search for their own colour – keeps it fair. Happy Easter!
LOVE that idea and I think I may try it out tomorrow! I’ve got the plastic eggs and if I can prevent the boys from fighting, I’ll all for it!
I love everything about Kinder! We don’t have any snazzy fancy techniques… thanks for sharing Lena.
