This past weekend, we presented Ryder with a ticket to his personal heaven: The 2014 Canadian International AutoShow. Thanks to the amazing folks at Nissan Canada, Ryder had an opportunity to indulge in his need to speed (er – at least, a theoretical speed as displayed by stationary showroom models) and get his fix of automobiles big and small.
Of course, we were *slightly* concerned about Evil Snowman sightings, as alluded to in a previous post:
“Friends, you can never be too prepared for the Snowman Apocalypse. They’ll pillage and conquer unsuspecting towns, wreaking havoc and taking no prisoners. They’ll cast a shadow of doom and desolation, reminding Canadians everywhere that we are slaves to the unforgiving season. In fact, recent reports out of Toronto show the projected target being the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, which will host the 2014 Canadian International Auto Show. The good news? The Nissan Rogue will be there, ready for battle.”
Well, we did spot an evil Snowman. As predicted, Ryder wouldn’t go anywhere near him – and with good reason! Look how freaky that freeze bomb is!
Regardless, as soon as we spotted the Evil Snowman, Ryder knew just what to do – seek out the 2014 Nissan Rogue. Sure, the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue is more distinctive than ever, but it’s also more practical, with room for up to seven. From headlights to taillights the stylish all-new 2014 Rogue maintains a perfect blend of classy and sporty, for a look that’s easy-on-the-eyes. Check out all the the features and specifications here.
Of course, Ryder took a shining to the Rogue immediately – so much so, that HE decided to be a Winter Warrior and protect the Rogue! Gotta love a 5-year old who stands in front of a thousand pound machine to ward off evil Snowmen. And me? Let’s just say that I have a thing for Moonlight White.
The thing is, perhaps the Snowman is slightly misunderstood. Wait – what does he like to do for fun? Did he really say “To Scare Children?” Maybe Ryder is right to be afraid :)
In addition to checking out the amazing lineup of Nissan automobiles – and taking a picture with an Evil Snowman – be sure to take in the all-new Infiniti Q50 luxury sports sedan. The first vehicle to bear Infiniti’s new nomenclature, the Q50 crystalizes the brand’s future design, performance and technology direction. To help share the magic, performers from Cirque du Soleil will be on hand to dazzle the crowd.
The 2014 Canadian International AutoShow is on until Sunday, February 23rd. The AutoShow continues to provide The Total Automotive Experience with over 600,000 square feet of dazzling displays, big prize giveaways and engaging exhibits! If you live in the Greater Toronto Area, be sure to stop by for an experience you won’t forget – especially if you have a car buff (or two) in your family!
Special thanks to Nissan Canada for providing show tickets to check out the fun.
My hubby first thought it was a movie of killer snowmen when he glanced at the commercial on tv lol
LOL! It would make quite the epic movie :)
This is a good commercial can’t say that about many
Happy it meets your approval!
these snowmen are evil looking to scare anyone!
Not the friendly Frosty type, eh?
I love that commercial. Something about an evil snowman that is funny. Almost reminds me of a movie I saw once that was mostly funny but some parts were very disturbing. Not family friendly at all as there was an evil murderous snowman but it’s one of those so cheesy it’s funny things. Not scary at all.
Anyway I’ll stop rambling on about the movie and hope I see the commercial again today.
Oookay. Now you have to tell me the name of the movie Francine!
Jack Frost (the horror movie not the hockey playing dad movie.) like I said there are some very disturbing scenes but it is mostly funny.
When I googled the movie to find the name I noticed there is a sequel but I never saw the 2nd one.
I’ll let my husband know. He is addicted to horror movies, but I can’t stand them! I have an overactive imagination :)
Oh my goodness, “I am not single, look at my big carrot”, ba ha ha ha. Thanks for sharing the commercial.
You’re welcome Lori!
I’d like to fill up my whole property with these snowmen to chase the Raccons away!! And your little boy is not looking so little anymore what a cutie!! :)
I know – he’s so tall now!! Can’t believe that he was only 5 months old when I started this blog!
Loved the “Interview with a snowman” video… wonder what my dogs would do if they saw one of those guys around here LOL !
Auto shows are great, I love to go and fantasize what it would be like to be driving around in some of the vehicles I could never afford ;) My favourite part is looking at the concept cars. Some of them make you “ooh and aah” and others make you say “what on EARTH were they thinking with THAT !!”
LOL
Looks like you all had a fun time :)
Ah, concept cars – they’re such a tease!! We have no idea which ones will come to market and which ones were made just to “ooh and ahh” at. Although, we’re probably driving some of the concept cars from the 90’s TODAY!
I want a snowman costume like this – awesome Halloween outfit!!
Yes, it certainly would be!
The music in the beginning of the commercial…creepy! I would love to go to a car show!
It’s a great way to spend the weekend with the family!
We go to the Autoshow every year and love it! I wasn’t too blown away from anything this year, but I did check out the Rogue and it is a sweet ride!
Nice! Glad you checked it out Victoria!
Evil snowmen!! Nice looking Nissan car. I’m so tempted to go to the autoshow this year, would be neat to see.
Did you get a chance to attend Melinda?
BAHAHA luv the video.
Me too! Too funny.
Wow, the Rogue looks amazing! I thought it was a Volkswagen at first glance!! Had to double check. very stylish and practical indeed!
Thanks for the feedback Jenn!
