Another Monday, another Covet List!
(A little background: Since I’ve decided that coveting is infinitely more agreeable than reckless spending, I was thrilled to be approached by Nadia Carriere of Child Mode to participate in the Monday Covet List. Together with some of my favorite fashion and style bloggers, Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends, Vera Sweeney of Lady and the Blog and Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations, we’ll share 3-4 covet-worthy products that we are currently lusting over.)
Of course, I’ve realized that coming up with a covet list is way too easy because I tend to covet things all the time. This week, I’ve got the following gorgeous pieces on my mind (and perhaps favourited on my browser)…
I’m making it really easy on myself this week, as ALL my #MondayCovet items happen to be, well, the same item. This week only, the PIPPA BAG by Modalu England is on sale at Town Shoes… 25% off the original price! That’s right, one of the most covet-worthy handbags – available in a variety of prints, colours and fabrics – is a quarter-off the usual cost for the entire week. Be still my heart!
Of course, if I had to pick just three styles, I am in full-on “want” mode for the following pieces:
The best part? The PIPPA BAG won’t break the bank. They’re all reasonable priced under $295, and when you factor in a cool 25% off, all of a sudden it makes sense to put a PIPPA BAG under the Christmas tree – for yourself! (And I do believe you’ve all been very good this year.) Happy shopping!
Over $200 and won’t break bank??!! If I do buy it, the tag has to be on it every time I take it with me ! If it’s made in PRC then no way for $200. Couldn’t find the ” manufactured in ” detail on the website
Bad news: pretty sure Modalu bags are made in India. But from the “won’t break the bank” perspective, the PIPPA is considered a designer bag. Hence, if you’ve got the means and desire to purchase a designer bag, the PIPPA is the way to go!
Wow, beautiful, purses are not a weakness of mine, but I can appreciate such taste :) .. we all have our ‘be still my beating heart moments’ on items we adore! I say treat yourself Lena! OR slip hubby the link and ask him hot you’d look w/that in your hand or on your arm :).
Thanks Darlene! Funny enough, my husband is more of a fashionista than I am, so there would be no convincing involved!
This a really a gorgeous/stylish/practical bag! I especially love the red one. I have a red weakness!
You have great taste, Anne!
I’m not a shoe/handbag-aholic, but these are pretty, love the turquoise one. One like this would definitely break my bank… I would rather take the cost of this purse and put it towards that gorgeous winter coat you blogged on not long ago (the reversible one) :)
Hahaha well I’m glad to see you can make fashion priorities. Good call Flora!
Pretty Colours! I have to admit I am not a purse fan, would love it if I didn’t have to carry one. My hubby got tired of me just carrying my wallet around so I do ONE now.
You need a crossbody, Judy. Both hands are free, and it carries your stuff!
Great choice, I have always wanted a Pippa bag! They are so chic! I love the colour in the middle!
Me too, it’s my fave!
Gorgeous! Love the red :)
Yup, it’s such a statement piece!
i love that. it’s very classy and will never go out of style
Totally agree with you. It’s a handbag you can carry for years.
I am a huge fan of purses, just not enough to pay over $200. But as a gift I would gladly accept the red or grey one. Happy shopping Lena, you may just find one of these under your Christmas tree.
I think I’d accept any colour of PIPPA bag as a gift!
I am a bag nut, but not fussy on these or the price, I am a fan of their more funky ones. I bought a bag from them last year for about $50. It’s not leather but I really like it. Winners has some great bags
I love Winners and Marshalls for bags. Wish we had a TJ MAXX here – they have a fabulous selection too!
Oh I love bags – tote, cross body, clutch et al. It’s like having a friend wherever you go ;-)
Haha love that!
Very cute purses but not in this Momma’s budget!
Oh, that’s okay. That’s why it’s called a “Covet List!”
now this is my kind of covet oh how I love purses I’m just too cheap to get a good one.
And that’s why it’s totally cool to just covet!
I have such a handbag weakness. I usually drag myself away from buying new ones. Love this! It is just about the time to start dropping hints for Christmas… ;)
Hahaha start dropping those hints, Holly!
LOVE the blue.
It’s a best seller, I’m sure!
The Pippa bag is gorgeous! Love!
Me too!
I love the grey one.
It’s my fave too :)
I personally love the red one.
