Yes, friends… I hear Mother Nature calling… and she’s beckoning me to a luxury resort in the heart of the Muskoka Lakes. Twist my arm!
Last month, I told y’all about Travelocity.ca’s Go Seize the Summer Sale –
“Make this the best summer ever with the Go Seize the Summer Sale! Recreate memories of summer vacations past or create new memories. There are vacations to please everyone in your family this summer.”
Well, I accepted Travelocity.ca’s challenge to #GoSeizetheSummer, and we’ll be embarking on a few family adventures – starting with the JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa. Our view over the next two days:
Booking through Travelocity.ca couldn’t have been easier! I love the flexibility, wide variety of properties to choose from, and most of all – the amazing prices! Follow my tweets and watch as we make the most of our summer vacation together. And if you’d like to participate in your own adventure, visit Travelocity.ca and enter code LENA10; the code is good for 10% off a prepaid GoodBuy Hotel booking of $200 or more. (Valid July 10 thru August 31, 2013.)
Is it any wonder I settled on the JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa?
Named one of the ten best resort views by National Geographic, this Canadian resort boasts an array of indoor and outdoor activities year-round. We are anticipating a very glorious stay :)
And with that, friends… Arrivederci!
Wow, this looks so beautiful and tranquil! What a great place to explore nature!
Agreed! I’m so very excited!
Paradise, Lena! Enjoy! :D
Thank you :) It’s my first official “down time” in a long time.
Ready to roll! This is going to blow honey harbour out of the water (literally lol)
OMG stop with the honey harbour references! (Clearly this is an inside joke…)
Looks amazing! I hope you have a blast :)
Thanks so much Nicole!
Awesome resort! The view is so breathtaking and tranquil. Enjoy and have fun with your family Lena!
Thanks Marissa! We had a fabulous time!
This looks like a little slice of paradise! I hope you and your family have the peace and enjoyment that these pictures show :)
Thank you Teresa. It was a much needed slice of paradise :)
Wow – looks fabulous – I could see myself sitting in one of those adirondack chairs by the water – only thing missing is a sun-shade umbrella for me. Another great resort is The Briars at Jackson’s Point (it has been quite a few years since I last visited though). Would love to pay a visit to either of them next summer (this one was shot because of my daughter having her baby June 30th LOL)
I will definitely keep The Briars in mind – thank you Flora!
Wow this looks amazing, have a great time!
Thanks Judy – it was great!
Lovely! Hope to see and hear more details when you get back. Enjoy!
Working on my post :) Thanks NT!
omgosh beautiful
It is gorgeous, Chandra!
Beautiful pool, and shore – boats and kayaking? A few days doesn’t seem like enough time to enjoy it all.
It’s true. In fact, most vacationers were there for a week. I’ll definitely consider it for next summer!
this is so stunning
That looks majestic!
Honestly Victoria the pictures don’t even do it justice. It was amazing!!!
I am so jealous. This is my kind of summer vacation spot because I get a sense of the Fall (from the gorgeous red and orange trees) but then there’s also the gorgeous blue sky and waters!
It’s the perfect mix of everything. Truly, we had an amazing time!
Thanks for the great pictures!
You’re very welcome!
Lake Rosseau is fantastic and that resort! Wow. Gorgeous. I definitely want to stay there at some point.
I definitely recommend it!
Beautiful, they should give you a free nights stay for the beautiful pictures and blog entry, what great advertising for them. After seeing your photos I’d stay there :)
:) Thanks Melly Mel!

Ah, i do believe you found a little piece of heaven on earth right there.
Breath Taking..
That looks awesome!
Wow, this looks beautiful, now why would I have to spend tonnes of money for a flight down south?
