Another Monday, another Covet List!
(A little background: Since I’ve decided that coveting is infinitely more agreeable than reckless spending, I was thrilled to be approached by Nadia Carriere of Child Mode to participate in the Monday Covet List. Together with some of my favorite fashion and style bloggers, Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends, Vera Sweeney of Lady and the Blog and Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations, we’ll share 3-4 covet-worthy products that we are currently lusting over.)
Of course, I’ve realized that coming up with a covet list is way too easy because I tend to covet things all the time. This week, I’ve got the following gorgeous pieces on my mind (and perhaps favourited on my browser)…
1. I *may* have a small obsession with white coffee tables. The clean lines; the contemporary-meets-cottage feel; the purity of design. And, decidedly NOT child friendly. Sigh. This Picasso Swivel Coffee Table from Structube rubs me the right way.
“High-gloss lacquered coffee table with two swivel tops including a plane of tempered glass.” Retails for $399.00.
2. There’s something about these delicately sculpted, crystal-dipped pave fold drop earrings that has pushed my coveting into overdrive. Designed by Coach, they feature gold plated brass with Swarovski stones.
“Like abstract calla lilies, this pair dangles gracefully from slender French wires. Cast in brass and washed with gold, the design is polished to a bright, glowing finish.” Retails for $88.00.
3. I’ll be converting the following item from a “covet” to a “purchase” this week – we’ve been looking for a basic, sturdy puppet theatre for the boys for some time now, and this whimsical Wooden Puppet Theatre with 4 Puppets from Mastermind Toys looks like it’ll do nicely. And at $39.95, it won’t break the bank, either.
“This “stage” for your child’s creativity will provide endless hours of fun for the whole family! Comes complete with puppets and a story card to spark your child’s imagination. There is no limit to the adventures that lie ahead! Comes with wooden theatre and 4 fun puppets – 1 king, 1 cat, 1 boy and 1 girl.”
Do you have a covet list? We want to see it! Share your 3 must-haves and add the link to our linky below.
Oh drool ! LOL Those earrings are fabulous ! I like the coffee table too (but in the darkest oak colour). I really would like a coffee table that has a top that pops up and moves closer to the sofa (I have seen them on some of the “designer” TV shows). The puppet show theatre is cool too, but that might have to wait until my daughter and son-in-law get a bigger house… I will definitely be planning a trip to Mastermind Toys before Christmas – I didn’t realize they had such reasonable prices before seeing this post :o)
That’s so awesome Flora, and you’re such a good grandma! And, love that you love the coffee table :)
the puppet theater is cool. all it needs are some Whatnots from FAO SChwartz.
Agreed. I stood in line for a Whatnot forever but abandoned my quest after close to an hour.
Lord have mercy! That coffee table is amazing and I want it…..now lol
Hahaha too funny Anne!!
I’m in love with the earrings! Also, the puppet theater would make a neat Christmas gift for little kids.
I don’t think I can wait until Christmas! I totally want my boys to have this now!!!
That coffee table reminds me of the ones I used to see when I lived in Europe. The one I coveted had a center portion that could be raised with a hand crank, which would convert it into a regular height table for eating at. Thing weighed a ton and was very expensive in the 80’s, I never did buy it and to this day I still think of it.
Thank you for sharing your European covet! Love it!
Love the earrings!!
Aren’t they gorgeous?? Love!
Nice coffee table pick — and the black on is on sale! My partner and I covet like 90% of the Structube catalog! That table wouldn’t work with us though. We’re both a bit on the messy side, and I don’t know what we would do without a covert drawer or shelf to throw all our things into/onto when we have company. Well, besides become more tidy and organized.
I’m addicted to Structube – we dropped major $$ when we first moved in :) And my covert “drawer” is my fireplace – it’s a MESS!
I’ll covet my deck if I ever get one, sigh
Sigh. I’ll cross my fingers for you Chandra :)
