My boys are alike in many ways. They love to watch movies; have a affinity for loud, destructive noises, and have a sweet tooth that often keeps them up way past bedtime.
However, in many ways, they’re so, sooooo different. Ryder is the sweet, sensitive one. He’s always in tune with people’s feelings, and will reason the heck out of everything – even if the question is, “would you like red grapes or green?” You could say that he’s a bit of an overthinker.
Reid, on the other hand, is my wrecking ball. He’d rather seek forgiveness than ask permission, and is unabashedly selfish. He shoots from the hip and could definitely spend a little more time thinking things through.
Every child has their own unique personality, which is why Fisher-Price has created FIVE new Little People characters! The Little People brand introduces toddlers to a bunch of buddies who are ready for anything, because adventures are even more fun when they’re shared. This diverse group of playful pals has personalities toddlers can relate to – from energetic and curious to imaginative and sensitive. The redesign allows children to get to know the personalities behind the characters, and identify with their interests, hobbies and favourites.
Want to meet them? Without further ado, introducing…
My boys absolutely love learning about the new Little People, and even helped me choose the scrapbook paper backgrounds, based on their personalities, to take the pictures above. My favourite is Mia!
(Cool Fact: Over two billion Little People figurines have been sold in 60 countries since the brand’s launch.)

The opinions in this blog are my own.
I think my son is most like Eddie – always on the go. Although he’s also a clown like Koby. Oh, it’s tough to choose!
They’re so adorable, aren’t they?
They are adorable ! One of my granddaughters is a female version of “Eddie” (but looks more like “Sophie” without the glasses), my oldest grandson is a “Koby”, my oldest granddaughter is definitely “Sofie”, the youngest two are under 2 so I can’t say who they will be most like when they get a bit older ;)
Loved hearing you categorize the kiddos! So cute!
Two billion sold is a really impressive number! Those are really cute, and they seem like a great way for kids to learn not only about their own, but about others’ personalities.
Exactly. I think all kids love Little People!
These are really adorable and I love the different ethnic backgrounds!
Me too! Way to go Fisher-Price!
I relate to Mia best too!

I relate to Mia too! She is quiet and I love quiet. Sara and even our cat love quiet…perfect for reading and we love books! I can’t believe how many have been sold!
