Impulse Purchase. Again.

August 5, 2013 By Lena

Disclaimer: Can we please agree that if an item is selling for under $30, or is at least 70% off, then it’s no longer an impulse purchase… but a NECESSARY buy?

Such is the case with this Little Tikes Easy Store Picnic Table with Umbrella. It is currently retailing for $94.99 on the Little Tikes website. At Walmart, you can grab it for $93.00. And surprisingly, Canadian Tire has it a little cheaper at $69.99. But here’s why I just had to purchase it… I found it at Target Canada for just $25.99!

“This indoor/outdoor table can be used as a play table or picnic table. Folds for fast set up and take down – an ideal portable table! Six children can sit comfortably for play and interaction. Includes umbrella for safe fun in the sun.”

Target is currently offering a massive clearance on their outdoor toys, and this picnic table is just one of the great deals you can find. Assembly was a breeze and the boys have been enjoying their new hangout since we purchased it on Saturday. And at under $30, I’m sure you’ll agree that this hardly breaks the bank.

Check out a Target near you! Almost all outdoor toys have been marked down by 70% at two GTA locations that I checked out. There’s a lot of summer left to enjoy the toys – and the deals! In the meantime, I’m content to watch the boys devour a snack at their new picnic table.

Great find! I would have picked it up at that price, too (when and if we get a Target here in NB).

I honestly contemplated picking up two – one for outside, one for the basement in winter! But then I realized that since it’s plastic, I can simply hose it down and bring it inside ;)

I’ve got a few really nice priced toys on clearance this past weekend from them. This table is surely a steal! Too bad we already have one…

Nice find! We don’t have a need for it, we already have a picnic table, but you’re right, at that price, I would have picked one up and given it as a gift.

    • Lena

      August 9, 2013 at 10:10 pm

I *wish* I had picked up another. I could definitely have gifted it, I don’t know what I was thinking!

Great find Lena and at that price, you can never go wrong. I’m sure your boys will enjoy this picnic table even during the winter months in the basement.

Awesome find! I always have a hard time not buying certain thing for my son, but he’s only 4 months so I have to tell myself that he really does t need it yet and I don’t need to accumulate things this early.

LOL yes, you can probably hold off for a year or two :) But I love your shopaholic instincts!
