Another Monday, another Covet List!
(A little background: Since I’ve decided that coveting is infinitely more agreeable than reckless spending, I was thrilled to be approached by Nadia Carriere of Child Mode to participate in the Monday Covet List. Together with some of my favorite fashion and style bloggers, Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends, Vera Sweeney of Lady and the Blog and Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations, we’ll share 3-4 covet-worthy products that we are currently lusting over.)
Ahem, I’ve decided that coming up with a covet list is way too easy because I tend to covet things all the time. This week, I’ve got the following gorgeous pieces on my mind (and perhaps favourited on my browser)…
1. Y’all know I have a lip gloss addiction, and this Bite Beauty Collector’s Edition of iconic lip colors spanning 15 years is just my ticket. Available exclusively at Sephora.com.
“This lip library includes everything from rich reds to natural nudes all in Bite’s lick-worthy Lush Fruit Lip Gloss formulation. Instant nutrition for lips, this formula contains the same healthy ingredients you’d find in a pure fruit smoothie: real coconut, mango, and strawberry infused with seven nourishing fruit oils for a tropical concoction delicious enough to eat. Rich, vibrant, and juicy, this modern formula is highly pigmented—what you see in the container is the color you’ll see on your lips.”
2. I’m thinking ahead to fall – and quite enjoying the look of a belted denim dress with leggings and riding boots. Of course, since this Denim Dress from H&M is only $49.95, I’m pretty sure I can convert this one from a “covet” to “purchase”. Bonus: I’m thinking this is the perfect casual dress to wear to family gatherings – I can simply toss aside the belt if I indulge a little too much :)
“Knee-length, V-neck denim dress in a straight style with pockets at the front and sides, long sleeves with a tab and button, and buttons at the front and cuffs. Slightly longer at the back.”
3. I’m pretty much convinced that contrasting suede and leather is the sexiest combination known to womankind. Well hello KENDRIX by Sam Edelman…
“Show ‘em who’s boss with this sexy banana heeled ankle boot with a contrasted suede and leather body. Fierce ankle boot in super smooth leather from Sam Edelman; finished with a cage-strap appliqué and a decorative buckle. Hidden, leather-wrapped platform for an extra boost and pull-zip closure along the back. High/low boot shaft opening, sculpted, tapered heel and almond-shaped toe.”
Do you have a covet list? We want to see it! Share your 3 must-haves and add the link to our linky below.
You need those boots. Heck, I need those boots…
:) I can’t wait to check them out in person!
Oh that dress! Covet worthy indeed :-)
Isn’t it? I love it!
Ok Lena, I usually end up coveting after reading your posts..but those boots …looks like you’ll tape my mouth the same way like the tapes on the boots. The dress is covet-worthy though!
Hahaha well I can’t expect you to love all my picks! :)
I like the idea of a denim dress, but pockets at the top don’t suit me at all…. (I wouldn’t mind them waist height though). Those boots are to die for (again, sadly, I can’t wear heels higher than 1 inch). Now the lip gloss set is definitely going on my “covet” list ;o) Love these Monday covet lists – they start the week off with a smile :o)
Thank you Flora – I’m so glad you’re enjoying them!
Can I simply say that I’m coveting a housekeeper? This place needs some serious help!
You COULD… LOL!
I am now going to echo Nadia…we all need those boots! Awesome covet list!
Thanks Stephanie!
Those boots are sex-ay! ;)
Glad you appreciate them Nicole!
The denim dress looks so comfy – this would definitely be on my covet list along with the lip gloss set. However, the boots look good but not for me.
Hahaha they’re not for everyone!
Those boots are to die for! Guess who’s heading to Town Shoes this weekend…
Ooooh… let me know if you buy them!
I ended up going to Vaughan Mills which only has Town Shoes Outlet, and they weren’t there! Then I ended up on the Town Shoes website and discovered you can order online through The Shoe Company. Then I ended up playing the “Should I or Shouldn’t I” game for way too long, with too many pairs of boots. To be continued tomorrow.
Hahaha I look forward to hearing more about your inner struggle…. I vote for YES.
Those boots are still sweet 4 years later !
