The Monday Covet List: Three Things to Covet

It’s no secret that I covet. A beautiful handbag here; a gorgeous necklace there. In fact, one could argue that almost all of my posts allude to one thing or another that I’m currently pining after. Because that’s what a reformed shopaholic does, no?

And since I’ve decided that coveting is infinitely more agreeable than reckless spending, I was thrilled to be approached by Nadia Carriere of Child Mode to participate in the Monday Covet List. Together with some of my favorite fashion and style bloggers, Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends, Vera Sweeney of Lady and the Blog and Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations, we’ll share 3-4 covet-worthy products that we are currently lusting over.


I can’t wait to check out all the coveted items from some of the most savvy fashionistas I know! And me? Well, I’m currently in a funk over the following three items, because I’m caught up in a “to-buy-or-not-to-buy” dilemma. Maybe you can sway my mind? In the meantime, I’ll covet!

1.     I don’t have a blog, but there are 3 things that I “covet” –

    1- A Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer (they come in so many delightful colours). I have wanted one for YEARS, but whenever I get money saved for it, something always pops up needing the money I had saved (car repairs, emergency vet etc).

    2- A real diamond tennis bracelet (I can dream can’t I ?)

    3- That GORGEOUS patio set you have in your backyard Lena.

    That green dress is lovely. It has everything going for it.
    Last year I made an Amazon wishlist of things that I really liked and linked it to my husbands account. He just discovered it a few weeks ago and promptly bought me something off if it. He’s so thoughtful. :)

    Love your covet list – those flats in particular – cap toe AND quilted AND studded AND beige? All my favorite things in one shoe :-)

    What I’m coveting at the moment….
    1) Minkoff Mini MAC in Almond
    2) MAC PRO lipliner in super stylish (apparently these are SO long-wearing – perfect for someone with *ahem* smaller lips like mine…)
    3) Those j.crew-alike sparkly sandals from Target that EVERYONE has – why didn’t I pick it up when I had the chance?
