Be a Stain Fighter! Clorox2 #Giveaway

June 11, 2013 By Lena

Note: The following giveaway is open to Canadians only.

Being the Clorox2 Stain Master Mom has its perks. For one, I no longer fear uncapped markers. For two, I’ve readjusted my attitude on wearing brightly coloured shirts while eating strawberries. And finally, I’ve come to accept that while all stains are not created equal – all stains are equally treatable, as long as you have the power of Clorox2.

Now hands up if you’ve embarked on a Stain Adventure? You can win $3,000! Simply choose an adventure on the Clorox2 Stain Adventures Facebook tab, complete the online Contest Entry Form, upload your picture and add a short description. And that’s it! I’ve got a Stain Adventure lined up for this weekend – “eat without utensils”. Oh wait – that’s not Stain Adventure; that’s everyday life.

Of course, another perk of being the Stain Master Mom is sharing AMAZING giveaways like this one – you can enter to win a Clorox2 Prize Pack – including a $100 Visa Gift Card to refresh your laundry room! Of course, if I had enough money (and about 200 more square feet) my laundry room would look like THIS:

… but in the meantime, we’ll just have to settle for some extra spending money and a wealth of amazing Clorox2 products. In addition to the Visa Gift Card, one lucky reader will win:

Clorox2 Original Stain Fighter & Colour Booster Liquid (Qty: 2)

Clorox2 Stain Fighter & Colour Booster is specifically formulated to work better on tough stains and keep your clothes bright. The liquid is specially formulated to lift stains and contains brighteners to give colours a boost. It is designed to be safe for all loads – add it to every load with your detergent for cleaner and brighter clothes. Clorox2 Original Stain Fighter & Colour Booster Liquid is better at removing tough stains vs. the leading detergent alone, including: Coffee – Red Wine – Berry Juice – Spaghetti Sauce – Mustard – Ball Point Ink – Make-up – Dirt

Clorox2 Stain Fighter & Colour Booster Tablets (Qty: 2)

Add Clorox2 Stain Fighter & Colour Booster tablets to every load with your laundry detergent to remove tough stains and brighten colours.

Clorox2 Stain Remover Spray (Qty: 2)

Clorox2 Stain Remover Spray is specifically designed to pre-treat stains on colours and whites to help you remove tough stains like grass, dirt and more! TripleSolve Technology attacks stains 3 times in every wash to remove tough stains the first time.

Clorox2 Oxi Magic Multi Purpose Stain Remover Powder (Qty: 2)

A stain-fighting powder with the cleaning power of oxygen? That’s Clorox2 Oxi Magic Multi-Purpose Stain Remover Powder. It’s the kind of sorcery Clorox chemists conjure up when they get together, between jokes about inert gasses. And not only does it clean a variety of surfaces in your house, it works great on laundry too.

… for a total value of over $150! Folks, that’s almost a whole year’s worth of stain fighting goodness. Like me, you’ll never fear stains again! To enter, simply fill the form below with your qualifying entries. Good luck everyone!

My fav laundry tip? How about using dawn dish detergent on coconut oil stain on your clothes? The rim of the coconut oil jar left a circular stain on my brand new top. So 2 nights ago I poured a good 1/4 cup of dawn on the front of my shirt, laid it in a bowl over night and rinsed it out. The stain? A GONNER! Halleluiah for google-help. 169. olga

    July 2, 2013 at 1:15 pm

We have a tendency to throw things in the hamper after one wear – it’s not necessary. Examine clothes before tossing them in the laundry. Pre-treat stains where necessary, and consider NOT washing everything after one wear. You’ll save wear and tear on your clothes AND water!

  170. Lee-Ann Sleegers

When it comes to food or drink, my DH is the clumsiest person I know. Every single one of his shirts I kid you not has a stain! He tries to be really careful but then forgets and starts either wolfing down his food too fast because he claims he’s enjoying it very much or moves quickly with his mug of coffee/tea/juice and ends up with a few splashes. I used to be amused at first because noone is perfect, but now I get annoyed some days. Thanks for the chance to win a great prize that will indeed help him the most in our family. I forgot to message a tip/trick when we do laundry. I’ve been looking for ways to cut costs and save hot water when washing clothes but I recently discovered that washing towels in cold water does not leave them nice and fluffy; the towels come out dried up and prune like. My tip is wash towels in hot water to keep them lush, and check clothes tags as most clothes can be washed in cold water so that will save you money. Twitter fan@plumerea

Do it first thing in the morning.

  177. Cathy C

    July 3, 2013 at 6:27 pm

My tip is to actually do laundry on a regular basis so you can take advantage of the off peak electricity hours and plan around the peak price hours When you leave it all to do at once you end up with no choice but to do it regardless of the electricity pricing.

Be sure not to overfill your washer or dryer. The clothes just won’t get as clean or as dry as they should be if your machines are too full of clothing.

  190. Carolyn

    July 5, 2013 at 12:16 pm

I use vinegar in the rince cycle, it’s inexpensive, natural and it works better than fabric softener

My best laundry tip would be use 2tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp baking soda, and 1 tbsp of dish soap as your laundry soap once a month to strip away grim and residue from commercial laundry soap. Clothes come out clean and fresh and actually smell just clean. It works really well.

  202. Amber

    July 7, 2013 at 12:28 pm

My best tip for laundry is not about treating it’s about just getting it done. Always do a load or 2 mid week to help the weekend go by easier. Of course pretreating and separating are necessary as well.
