It’s Kidtacular! Old Navy Kids and Baby Sale

February 7, 2013 By Lena

It’s the Hap-Happiest Time of the Year!

Folks, it’s the much-anticipated Old Navy Kids and Baby Sale. From February 7th-20th, ALL kids and baby merchandise will be 40% off! Without a word of lie, I have a $50 Old Navy gift card that I’ve been holding on to for months in anticipation of this sale. It’s just the perfect time to stock up on summer gear for the boys… for less!

Top 3 Reasons I LOVE the Old Navy Kids and Baby Sale:

1. Old Navy’s already great prices are slashed almost in half. Where else can you grab colourful, trendy clothing that kids love for a few bucks? You’ll remember that I made out like a bandit after last year’s sale, and I’m very much looking forward to adding a pop of colour to the boys’ wardrobe this Spring.

2. Kids will be kids. And they’ll mess up, rip through, Crayola-dye and do Lord-knows-what-else to their clothing. So I simply don’t see the need to pay full price (or designer prices) for items that have such a short life span. I used to think investing in $40 toddler jeans guaranteed a certain level of quality, but I quickly realized that a boisterous, adventure-addicted little boy can fade out even the priciest threads. Now, my kids are decked out in Old Navy from head to toe!

3. That glorious term called upsizing. Since 99.9% of children grow – too fast for our liking, I’m sure! – it’s easy to grab clothing for upcoming seasons in one size up if necessary. After all, why pay regular price for a pair of shorts just before summer, when you can purchase them at 40% off now? Plus, I love that most Old Navy bottoms have an adjustable waistline, allowing both my skinny-minis to wear their pants comfortably on the waist.

I took a quick look-see through the site, and put together a few trends/outfits I adore! I love the Easter-inspired combination of yellow, green and blue. Just looking at the spectacular pop of colours makes me realize that Spring is around the corner – and I can’t wait! Warmer temps on the way!

If I had a girl this is probably how I’d dress her. Or, dress myself, if I could squeeze into girl’s clothing. The printed bubble dress is the definition of sweetness, and I’d rock the heart prints any day of the week…

There are few things I love more than a little boy decked out in preppy, Zack Morris-eat-your-heart-out clothing. Shop the sale now and you can put together the above outfits for less than $30 per combination! Perfect for birthday parties, holidays or just because.

The Old Navy Kids and Baby Sale runs through to February 20th. Shop early in the sale for the best selection.

And be sure to participate in the Pin to Win Sweepstakes. Entering is super easy! Pick your favorite Old Navy trend/outfit featured in my blog post, enter your e-mail and pin for a chance to win daily prizes of $50 Old Navy gift cards and a final grand prize of $1,000 for one lucky winner! What would you do with that grand prize money? Happy pinning!

I love Old Navy, Lena…love the pinks…although Sara was never a ‘pink’ girl. Even on Halloween, she wanted to be the scariest witch when her Mum wanted her to be Cinderella. lol

    • Lena

      February 10, 2013 at 3:22 pm

Hahaha that’s so sweet! It’s okay, Halloween outfits are a great way for kids to express themselves!

Old Navy has some pretty darn cute outfits, I have to say! They very much keep up with the trends but keep things affordable -esp with these great sales.

    • Lena

      February 10, 2013 at 3:29 pm

Tara, all of Old Navy’s promotional literature says EVERYTHING 40% off. I just checked the site, and all of their e-mail promotions say the same!

I love to shop for clothes for my little buddies. The patterns are so spring-like and cutee!!

  29. amanda

    February 10, 2013 at 12:40 am

I normally really love shopping at Old Navy for both of my daughters (2yr and 9yr) but am kinda disappointed in their selection of patterns this year. Normally they have simple strips, polka dots or colors but this year the colors and patterns are abit more bold. My older daughter is at the step where she will to help pick out her own clothing and there wasn’t anything that she really liked. I won’t stop shopping at ON just probably won’t be buying anything during this sale which is a bummer because its such a great deal.

    • Lena

      February 10, 2013 at 3:31 pm

Oh no! So sorry to hear that Amanda – I completely understand that sometimes simple and understated is better, especially at that “tween” age. The good news is that Old Navy constantly has great deals and promos, so perhaps you’ll just have to wait for some more stock to come in (alas, you’ll have to forgo the 40% off).
