Friday Morning Funnies

May 11, 2012 By Lena

Who doesn’t love a friendly game of Battleship? “It’s America’s All Time Favourite Game!” But this ad from the 1950’s always gives me a chuckle. Can you spot the faux pas?

Come back later today – I’m currently blogging a recipe for the BEST lasagna I’ve ever had. Until then, hope your Friday is off to a fantastic start! xoxo

Just that the mother and daughter are watching from the background, as they do the dishes :)

:) Makes me giggle every time. Can you imagine? They ACTUALLY printed this on the front box?

Could it be the ladies in the kitchen doing woman’s work?

I can’t belive this. My mother was raised in a home were wemon did all the house work and fed the men and washed up his mess. I am so opposite at my home kinda. He cleans his mess and if he wants to eat he better come get it, I will never fix a plate for a man and eat after him. Its just not my way. My mother still gets on to me when I tell him its his turn todo the dishes, well he ate too right. Lol now I am nice and do things on special occations.

I think a lot of women have done away with the “let me serve my husband” mentality. Good for you for sharing the workload! You’ll both be happier in the end!
