NOTD: OPI & Deborah Lippmann Mash-Up

March 3, 2012 By Lena

Okay, so this is my first Nail of the Day (NOTD)… ever.

With good reason! My nails suck – they’re stubby, have massive cuticles and haven’t seen a manicurist in oh… let’s say two years. Maybe three.

(My fault, of course – I never seem to make time for the small things. Need to change that this year.)

Anyhoo, I happened to be sporting “Thanks a Windmillion” from OPI’s Holland Collection when I came across the photo on the right – a beautiful sea-green saree complemented with ultra romantic pink detailing. And then, of course, I remembered the Deborah Lippmann “Some Enchanted Evening” nail lacquer I had included in my Topbox review from earlier today.

Thanks a Windmillion: Muted sea-foam green with gray undertone.
Some Enchanted Evening: Ultra girly asymmetrical pink glitter.

Alas, it was a match made in heaven.

Me thinks I’m going to do this more often :)

Thanks Nicole! I’ve been starting at my nails more than usual, so I guess that means I like it too!

Great combo!… perfect for spring and summer. Many moms can relate to not having time to take care of themselves. That’s why mobile spa services are so convenient. If you live on Toronto check out http://www.atyourservicemobilespa.com

Aw, thanks Emily. They’re just alright, but colour goes a long way to making them prettier.

Me too! Two nails are starting to chip (I’ve have the green polish on for a few days) but it’s too pretty to remove just yet!

I love that combo! I have pretty sad looking short nails so I don’t often do anything too bold. This is nice through, more muted. :)
