I’d like to think of myself as a shopping connoisseur. Both online and in-store, I have a knack for finding the best deals – frankly, if it’s not on sale, I don’t buy it.

(Except groceries – we all have to eat!)

However, The Shopping Channel (TSC) throws me for a loop.

First, the products are showcased on television around the clock. Like, “it’s 3 o’clock in the morning and I have insomnia oh look what’s on the TV they’re selling curling irons” around the clock. Second, for the longest time, the products were only purchased over the phone. Third, in your average morning, you can conceivably see everything from makeup to coffee makers to yard tools. Kind of like taking Sears and throwing it into a blender.

So if you’re strictly an in-store kind of shopper, it can be intimidating. And for the last few years, I paid The Shopping Channel no mind.

    I LOVE TSC!!!! About 10 years ago, I was ADDICTED. I bought so much stuff from TSC, that the mailman would say to me, “Got another package!”

    I don’t have cable now so thankfully, I can’t watch TSC…or else I’d be dang broke. I love TSC, but at the same time, it’s evil! I must stay away…Lena, don’t tell me how awesome it is!! And Shauna, I didn’t know they sell Roots! OH DAMN!!!!!

    I love the Shopping Channel and have ordered from them at least 20 times if not much more. I usually try to snag free shipping deals or bundle my products to save on costs. Since the naked palette is on free shipping, guess what? Buying it today!!!!! Appreciate the tip!

    I’m not really fond of the shopping channel because if you don’t like the item, it can cost a lot of money to return it.

      That’s a valid point – I’ve never inquired what return shipping costs would be. However, from the looks of it, most customers are pretty satisfied!

      Actually, the Shopping Channel offers free returns. They didn’t used to, but within the last several months they changed that and now offer free return shipping. Love, love, love the Shopping Channel.

    Their shipping is high, but I find all shipping costs too high, ha ha. What I used to do to avoid the shipping was visit the TSC store on Orfus Road. I haven’t been there in ages so I’m not sure if it’s still there…should be though! Orfus Road is south of the 401 off Dufferin. If you’re going east on the 401, take the Dufferin exit, drive south on Dufferin, then turn right onto Orfus Road. There are a bunch of outlets on that road and TSC is one of them. I used to get all my Christmas shopping done down there then chill out at Seoul House for dinner (Korean food…yummmmm…get the Kampungi if you go…spicy deep fried chicken dish).

    You do not have to pay to return an item to TSC BUT they deduct the original amount of S&H off your credit card so really, it is not free returns.

      I forgot to write on there that I love TSC and buy from there all the time as does my mom, as we have a hard time getting out of the house and shopping these days due to illness. TSC makes Christmas shopping and everything so much easier and they have great products! Would love to try the Naked Urban Delay palette, I have Juice Beauty and it’s wonderful!

    For a long time I have been drooling over one of those cappacino, latte home brewing machine. Like Krupps or Tassimo. Right now they have the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Circolo by Krupps as their Show Stopper for a sweet price of $99.97! That’s half price!
