Mmm… Barbecue Season. I hope y’all enjoyed my recent Life Made Delicious post – those Grilled Chipotle Burgers with Guacamole have quickly become one of my new favourite BBQ recipes!

This is actually the first year that my husband has started to to leave his comfort zone (read: burgers and ‘dogs) with barbecuing. We’ve been trying out the smoker, using cedarwood planks to infuse flavour, choosing new cuts of meat and have even tried grilling fruit. We’re getting creative, peeps!

    Cameron has made beercan chicken and it's delish! And my father-in-law is a beercan chicken pro. Best beer so far – Alexander Keiths. Best flavour and super moist. And cooking a whole chicken is way cheaper than cooking just breasts for dinner.

    I would love to try the slow cooker fajitas pulled pork sandwiches with avocado-onion slaw. My husband would love this. I have a slow cooker that I have never used.
