Save Your Sanity Tip #14

February 13, 2011 By Lena

Shop at Wal-Mart… at 7:10am.

Seriously, folks, I don’t make this stuff up. Be at Wally World just a few minutes after opening, and you will be their ONLY customer. Then, to prove that your entire shopping experience can be free of whiny kids, bumper carts and climbing over customers, I took these photos just before I left – at 8:25am.

Blissfully, still without a customer – or pulse. Save Your Sanity – shop at Wal-Mart before everyone else does.

I always do my grocery shopping early. Unfortunately I never get to Walmart quite that early. It makes a huge difference!

Our WalMarts are open 24/7. I shop in the morning during the week and never go there on the weekends. There are always people in the store, but I almost never have to wait long. I'm not sure I have ever seen any WalMart so deserted. Crazy!

Lovely! I made the mistake of venturing into Walmart today. I have learned in the past that Weekend + Walmart ='s bad idea, yet I somehow always manage to forget this. My husband has a theory that Walmart is the new church, based on the insane numbers of people flocking there every Sunday.

I have never seen Walmart like that. Then again I hardly ever go there because of bumper carts and other not so fun things. Last time I went to Wally World I literally ran a man down with my cart. He plowed around the corner and BAHM! Eeee gats I really dislike Walmart.
