My little tidbit on the massive Fisher Price recall caught the attention of a reporter from The Globe and Mail here in Toronto, and I was asked to provide a comment. Neat-o! I’m in print!
Interesting fact: “There is no Canadian law that compels companies to report safety concerns, even if the problems lead to serious injuries in children. That means that until companies voluntarily disclose safety issues to health officials, parents have no way of knowing if products in their home have been linked to problems.”
Eeeeek! How exciting for you & your amazing blog! What a great (free) advertisement!I saw a news segment last night about (lacking) Canadian laws, and how we count on the US to tell us when there is a problem with toys, etc. That is REDICULOUS!!! It just proves, again and again, that parents are the only people who can keep kids safe.
That's amazing! Congrats – you're in print! :)
