… are a Mom’s best friend! Thank goodness I’m meticulous about caring for Ryder’s clothing – just resurrected all of his old clothes from the closet, ready to hand down to baby brother :)
Also came to realize:
1) I bought way too many newborn onesies the first time around. 26? WTH?
2) He has more “labels” than I do. WTH??
3) He’s got two bins of 18-24 months clothing (not pictured). WTH???
Good thing I’m not shopping for little girls. I think I’d burn a hole in my wallet.
You are so organized!! Just hope that your second isn't a brute like mine is – both born in March but Josh is wearing at least a 1/2 size larger than Aidan was at the same age!
I went through my daughter's clothes recently. Couldn't believe the amount of onesies she has as well as clothes. She's a little clothes horse. :)
OMG. I can relate. The Lunchie has more labels than I and also more pairs of shoes. (I'm obsessed with baby shoes!) However, you are so organized. I must do what you did.
@Shauna – it's actually not so much organization as it is OCD! I have this thing about his clothes being washed, pressed and put away… too bad my own clothes are sloppily thrown over a chair in my room! And I hear ya on the size thing, thankfully, Ryder is tall so he's always been a size larger, so hopefully our second little guy will catch up to him…@westottawamommy – don't we spoil them? And I'm glad you're on board with the too many onesies thing – I've hung onto about 10 for this guy, and that's that!@Runner Mama – Ha ha ha, I remember reading one of your posts before The Lunchie was even born about you shoe shopping for him! Totally grab some clear bins and stash his old clothes. It'll keep them nice and fresh, discourage bugs, and perfect for using again or giving away!
Lena you are so organized…this is inspiring me to organize my own chaotic closet!
Love the boxes and the labels! Good job of being super organized!
@Lotus and Rubex Cube – not sure why I'm so organized with Ryder. I'm an official slob when it comes to my own stuff! Maybe it's the whole "do as I say, not as I do" thing that parents love to throw around…
hehe I know the feeling – I like things to be organized around me but my closet is a mess! I just keep shoving clothes in there and often I forget what I own. I need a walk in closet with a personal stylist…now that would be awesome
